Most accurate sizing method
Measuring Tape
- Get your supplies together! You will need something to take notes with, a measuring tape that measures in cm/mm, a marker, and clear tape.
- Place a piece of tape horizontally across each nail, making sure the tape is a tad longer than your nail's width.
- With the tape pressed firmly against the nail, use your marker to outline the edges of your nail. Repeat this step with each nail.
- Time to size! Get your note-taking device ready and write "Left Hand" and "Right Hand", this will set you up for the next step!
- Working from your thumb to pinky on both hands, peel each piece of tape off, measure the width (sidewall to sidewall) at the widest point and write down the number you get for each finger. When complete, you will get something that looks like this:
Left: 14,10,11,10.5,8.5 (mm)
Right:14,10,11,10.5,8.5 (mm)
6. With these numbers, you can reference the nail chart at the top of the page to find the pre-made size that best fits your nails, or you can enter these numbers into our custom order form to order a fully unique, one of a kind custom nail set!

Coin Method
- Find a coin!
- Find a clean, flat surface and place your thumb on it.
- Take a photo flat directly above your thumb next to a coin (USD).
- Email this photo and the subject "Sizing" to pressedbyklc@gmail.com. We will use this photo to determine your sizing for our pre-made nails and will reply with your size (XS, S, M, or L).
- If you would like to order custom made nails with a more exact fit, in addition to the thumb, email a photo of the remaining 4 fingers next to a coin, ensuring the camera is flat and directly above the nails. Do this with the other hand as well!
